Spanish  guitar music

Domingo DeGrazia blends Spanish guitar styles with the passion and flair of Flamenco guitar technique.  His playing is as rhythmic as it is percussive, often coupling dynamic Spanish rhythms with vibrant Latin, Salsa and rock drum beats.

Domingo DeGrazia is an Arizona native and the youngest son of famed Arizona artist Ted DeGrazia.  Although Domingo brings more than 20 years of playing and performing experience, he follows his father as being somewhat of a renaissance man.  Domingo holds college diplomas in aeronautical science as well as law, is an active pilot and is a former motorcycle road racer.

The San Carlos CD was written by Domingo DeGrazia and features nine musicians on guitar, violin, bass, drums, percussion, and vocals.  The CD was recorded at Allusion Studios in Tucson, Arizona.  The CD is DeGrazia’s second CD under his name and follows Domingo’s solo classical guitar CD, Calendars, released in 2003.

Geronimo plaza is a great place for the family to enjoy lunch during the performance.  We will be playing Spanish guitar music from the San Carlos CD as well as new solo pieces and songs from the upcoming Spanish Guitar CD. This free outdoor performance is courtesy of MainGate Square.

This performance honors Arizona artist Ted DeGrazia and will benefit the American Caner Society.   This is the entire Spanish Guitar band with drums, percussion and some guest performances.  Stay tuned for more info.
